Vibrating Fork Level Switch for solids
Electronics of LSV excites the piezo-electric-crystals inside tuning fork, which makes the fork tines vibrate.
LSV electronics simply invoke the peizo-electric crystals which are present inside of the turning fork and which enable fork tines to vibrate at their precise resonance frequency while in the free air.
Further, when tines are free to vibrate, the amplitudes of vibration remain above the threshold.
Likewise, when material flows on and touches the fork tines, this event stops vibration since the disturbance in the resonance takes place.
Vibration amplitudes, as are recorded by electronics, get down and lower than the threshold strength and hence material present in there, gets detected easily.
